@alan I worked with it in the context of weather prediction, and we also use it in the renewable energy sector, but I haven't been that directly involved in that side of it. I also did a Uni course on the core math/structure of ML.
I've followed the NLP field for a long time because I like languages, but it's almost lost in the noise now.

@veronica I forget if this is the third or fourth AI bubble. The first was the Expert Systems one back in the late 1980's. This one is so much bigger and when it pops it will be so much more painful, but once the blood has dried, we can all get back to doing useful things. When someone rants globally about AI, I suggest they disable their spell checker... 😂
