CBS is currently beholden to the Nazi's and I don't know if I trust their reporting. It would be in the US' best interest to show Iranian instability as well as how violent "real" protesting is to try and dissuade domestic ideas. That said. If Iran is murdering 10k citizens a week, their government won't last through the end of the month. One can only hope.

I really, really hope the protesters succeed. Iran has such a glorious history and wonderful people - they deserve so much more. It could retake its place as the shining example of countries in the region, as it was for most of the last 5000 years.

It even took Gaza a solid month to reach those numbers under constant bombing campaigns and a wall of IFVs. Iran's internet has only been complete blackout for 4 days, so unless they decided to unload several war days worth of ammunition in a purge killing spree, this isn't possible. AP is reporting 2.7k.

Bombshell report is right. This report was literally made to precede bombs. Western media always gets played by the cia, state department, israel, et al. There might be protests, they are associated with the west, on issues the west exacerbated the problems of for this purpose, helped in Iran, but also agent provokateurs to stir up violence. Protesters are pawns, media is a bishop perhaps, in fomenting another iran war. If we can use a chess analogy when one player lacks major pieces. If you think the us and israel are going to make anything better, it explains how we got into our own political position.

From what I was told. We can’t trust info coming out of Iran right now. We don’t know if these are the Iranian government trying see who repeats info. But because internet is so limited. We don’t have our normal sources.

Jesus, I wish there was some kind of standard for freedom of speech and freedom of the press that could be applied globally... But that would be inherently "evil" because global governments are supposed to be bad? Unless it's corporate globalism. Then it's ok, and we don't need standards or regulations because the values are just baked in since it's a private company...? Still it does seems a bit hypocritical to point out how evil Iran is while Trump is threatening to invoke the insurrection act in Minnesota against protestors who are upset about Trump invading their home, tear gassing a high school, shooting one man, and murdering one woman (*so far*), and even though it hasn't gotten much press, for some reason the [FBI just raided a journalists home yesterday and nobody really seems to know why.](https://truthout.org/articles/free-press-advocates-decry-fbi-search-of-washington-post-reporters-home/) Not trying to downplay Iran murdering so many citizens *or* give Trump brownie points just because he's pointing at the guy he's got a lot of catching up to do with when comparing violent crack downs on critics and the press. Let's just focus on the guy in Iran bc Trump's mad at him, not the guy in Saudi Arabia bc we're frenz now... And maybe not the guy in Russia? Because I can't even keep up with what we're all supposed to believe re: Trump, Putin, and oil right now. Tldr: Authoritarian dictators all suck no matter who they are, where they are, or how many innocent people they've murdered (*so far*)
