@siftinsand That's good. Less likely to go mouldy when opened. I always try to get a good set on my jam for this reason. The part jar needs using quicker in most cases.

@siftinsand I once made marmalade toffee. Gf had to go out and gave me comprehensive instructions on what to do, how long to let it bubble, if too runny wait 5min then etc etc. of course I got distracted, left it boil too long then put it in jars. It *looked* perfect, but was set like glass
