back from the cinema, saw EXIT 8. thought it was a superb film, very creepy
seeing it at my local cinema was quite surreal, we got there and went to buy tickets and they were like "oh it's free, just scan this QR code and fill in this online form" something to do with the BFI? dunno, but we got to see the film for nothing
then when the film started in addition to the subtitles the audio description was on, so there was descriptive text on screen like (eerie screeching noise) and (loud screaming) for the entire film. and also the projector was REALLY LOUD but after a while it just sounded like they had the air con turned up full blast in the subway station or something
the whole experience was really bizarre, but great. will definitely pick up the blu-ray when it comes out

EXIT 8 reminded me a little bit of the film CUBE from 1997, which is a film I have fond memories of but haven't seen since the VHS days Cube (1997) - Trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Esjc0rPj3K4

@COMPU73E The trailer was already too scary for me I'm going to be thinking about that next time I'm in the subway 😅 Not that our subway is that clean or well lit at all.
