For two days now I've been trying to write, but ended up making changes to my writing app instead. Finally, I got a good chunk of writing done, just now.
I wrote a scene in 1st person to see if it works for my WIP. I do prefer that style, but I fear it may be a little too limiting for my story. I will give it a try at least.
I'm testing to see if it works with the protagonist in 1st person, and the few scenes I have from other POVs in 3rd person. I'm very uncertain of this.

The thing about my WIP is that the story is about a very personal journey of discovery for my character, so 1st person feels right. Telling it in 3rd person so far has felt a little too flat. But I would also like to tell parts of it from outside her perspective. It is a little risky to mix, and so far I haven't written any scenes from a different POV that I can't cut if I want to, or rewrite to her POV if I must. I may be trying to have my cake and eating it here. 🤔

@veronica I still find it far too easy to slip into writing code instead of prose.
