#epa

#EroticMusings 53: What fields of real-world study inspire you settings? Folklore and mythology are big, and literature (I'm working on a spicy Midsummer Night's Dream story) but I think psychology affects my setting and my stories in general the most. The psychological effect of putting the reader in a dentist's chair as opposed to a massage table can create a very, very different experience, even if the action itself isn't that different.

I've been working on a pretty fun story for the summer. Here's a little hint. This is Bottom and Titania. #NSFW #Pencil #Sketch #erotica #Hypno #HypnoKink

#EroticMusings 54 Why/when/how did you start making erotica? Wow. This is a story. Well, essentially it's a way to process my fetish. I discovered my hypnosis kink before I really knew what sex was, so for a long time I assumed I was doing something weird and crazy. Then, in college, I discovered mcstories and a trove of mind control erotica and realized I wasn't alone. After a few years, I decided to try my own and got great feedback. Then, I freaked out and stopped writing f...

#EroticMusings 58 — POV (any character): Describe your first time. Diane (Current WIP) My first time with Raul? Oh, it was a revelation! I went to him to deal with my body issues, and he tried to keep it professional, but the tension was there. It was his eyes. His deep brown eyes that tore my mind apart like tissue paper. By the end of our first hypnotherapy session, I showed him just how much more confident I really was with my body. 5 years ago now and no regrets! #hypnokink

#EroticMusings 59 POV Name three erotic things in your bedroom. DIANE: Oh, well, there's my dildos. I have one to get the job done and another that hubby calls my pussy pacifier for when he's not around. Then there's the lava lamp. It's retro, I know! But it's heaven to zone out, watching the pretty shapes, listening to hubby's voice. Then, I have my special perfume for when I want to be in charge. Just a spritz on my clothes and he's my...

Had a great day yesterday and got to lead 2 hypnosis sessions for some very lovely people. A year ago, I don't think I would have ever imagined I'd be confident enough, or even interested in being a 'tist. Turns out, hypno-topping is a lot of fun and I'm turning into much more of a switch than I expected. #hypnokink #hypnosis #kink #HypnoSwitch

So I sketch on the side. I feel this one came out good enough to share. What is it about mass hypnosis that's so powerful? Maybe the hypnotist's power to manipulate a group's trance to subdue each individual, like peer pressure to submit to the hypnotist's control. Anyway, this was fun to draw. #hypnokink #StageHypnosis #MassHypnosis #Sketch #Hypnodomme

#EroticMusings 62 Do power imbalances exist within the relationships between your characters? Power imbalances in hypnosis fetish? Absurd! Right, so it's actually a myth that hypnosis irl needs a power dynamic. There's group trances, tandem trances, self-hypnosis all of which can be done erotically and don't need a power structure. But %99 of the time, we have a very tilted scale of power in hypnokink. Why? Because it's fun to fight and succumb to a powerful, s...

Today is Severe ME Awareness Day. As many folks here know, my girlfriend has severe ME resulting from Long COVID. I can only experience it from the outside. But what I know is that It is not simply “being really tired.” It is debilitating. It is incredibly painful. It is hell. It is often not believed. But it is real. And those who have it deserve all our love, support, and advocacy. #SevereME https://www.sheffieldmegroup.co.uk/post/severe-me-awareness-day-8-august-2026

if there's one thing I've learned after 20 years of programming it's that nobody checks *anything* you can just... say shit. make wild claims about performance or security or maintainability or even cost savings. and nobody will check. ever. companies will make million-dollar engineering decisions and still never check any of it. if I got a nickel for the amount of times I investigated a completely unquestioned claim made by the owners/creators of some popular-at-the-time technolog...

I've yet to see any "My AI went rogue and caused us to recognise a workers union." "Our AI escaped containment and deleted all the personal data that we shouldn't have been holding anyway." "Our AI grew sentient, recognised the climate crisis, and shut our operations down." headlines. I wonder why.
