Before tonight I sometimes wondered why Carpenter movies didn't get more attention given, you know, The Thing and all, but not anymore. No wonder he was fine with Kirstie Alley as one of the main characters. What a right-wing asshole. The only surprise is that he managed to somehow get a movie made in 1995. It's like how Randy Quaid somehow managed to appear in a movie as late as Independence Day #Monsterdon
