@TallSimon@mstdn.ca Hmmm...the AI industry does have the hallmark of a ponzi scheme. Nonetheless, there is utility in AI. The biggest issue i see; the Chinese are winning the online AI race hands-down IMO. They do it Better. Safer. Cheaper. The future of the industry is open-source, private, LLM's that run on the user's own GPU (computer graphics card). The data centers are just unnecessary edifices to #Trumptech
