Il Tempo: Da agosto 2025 ad agosto 2026 sei assalti nello stesso negozio: arrestato un uomo al Trullo
Per dodici mesi ha preso di mira sempre lo stesso negozio della Magliana, a Roma, terrorizzando la cassiera con un copione ripetuto sei volte e trasformando quel modus operandi in una vera e propria firma criminale. La Polizia di Stato ha arrestato un romano di 42 anni, raggiunto da un'ordinanza di custodia cautelare in carcere con l'accusa di essere gravemente indiziato di sei rapine aggravate e porto di oggetti atti ad offendere. Il provvedimento, emesso dal giudice per le indagini preliminari del Tribunale di Roma su richiesta della Procura della Repubblica - Dipartimento criminalità diffusa e grave - è stato eseguito dagli agenti dell'XI Distretto San Paolo, che hanno rintracciato l'uomo nel quartiere Trullo. Dopo le formalità di rito il quarantaduenne è stato trasferito nel carcere di Regina Coeli.
L'inchiesta ha ricostruito una lunga sequenza di assalti consumati tra agosto 2025 e agosto 2026, tutti ai danni dello stesso esercizio commerciale. Secondo gli investigatori, il presunto rapinatore entrava nel negozio, si dirigeva senza esitazioni verso la cassa, minacciava la dipendente e si impossessava del denaro contante, per poi fuggire a piedi facendo perdere le proprie tracce. Nei primi colpi avrebbe utilizzato un coltello per intimorire la vittima. In un'altra occasione, invece, avrebbe simulato di essere armato tenendo una mano nascosta nella tasca dei pantaloni, lasciando credere di impugnare una pistola.
Col passare dei mesi il copione sarebbe cambiato: negli episodi più recenti non avrebbe più mostrato alcuna arma, ma gli sarebbe bastato presentarsi davanti alla stessa cassiera con atteggiamento minaccioso, sfruttando il timore accumulato dopo le precedenti rapine. A ricostruire il profilo del presunto autore sono stati i poliziotti del Distretto San Paolo, che hanno messo insieme testimonianze, riconoscimenti fotografici e immagini estrapolate dall'impianto di videosorveglianza del negozio. Proprio i filmati hanno fornito uno degli indizi più importanti: un vistoso tatuaggio sul braccio, immortalato dalle telecamere, è diventato l'elemento distintivo che ha consentito agli investigatori di restringere il campo.

The Carabinieri (Italian police) arrested a 42-year-old Roman man, who was taken into custody on a precautionary order with the accusation of being seriously implicated in six aggravated robberies and possession of offensive weapons. The order, issued by the preliminary investigating magistrate of Rome’s Court of Assizes at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office – Organized and Serious Crime Department - was carried out by officers from the XI San Paolo District, who traced the man to the Trullo neighborhood. After formal proceedings, the forty-two-year-old was transferred to Regina Coeli prison.
The investigation reconstructed a long sequence of robberies perpetrated between August 2025 and August 2026, all targeting the same commercial establishment. According to investigators, the alleged robber entered the shop, headed without hesitation towards the cash register, threatened the employee, and seized the cash, then fleeing on foot, erasing his tracks. In the initial attacks, he reportedly used a knife to intimidate the victim. In another instance, he allegedly simulated being armed by holding his hand hidden in his pants pocket, leading the cashier to believe he was wielding a pistol.
As the months passed, the script would change: in more recent episodes, he no longer showed any weapon, but simply appeared before the same cashier with a threatening demeanor, exploiting the fear accumulated after the previous robberies. Police officers from the San Paolo District reconstructed the profile of the alleged perpetrator, putting together testimonies, photographic identifications, and images extracted from the shop's surveillance system. It was these videos that provided one of the most important clues: a conspicuous tattoo on his arm, captured by the cameras, became the distinctive element that allowed investigators to narrow the field.
