Brighton woman arrested & tried for writing to own MP.
Claire Kerrison arrested at 4:33am on 17 June 2025, in her Brighton home, for sending emails concerning 'israel's' #genocide in #Gaza to #PeterKyle MP.
4 cops seized her electronics. Held her for >8 hours. Released on strict bail. Charged under Communications Act.
Case dragged on for a year. Multiple court hearings. Case dismissed.
