Telus posted pictures of the cable damage that has taken down/degraded their Enterprise Fibre and phone in downtown Edmonton. Apparently it's at Jasper and 100th street. It looks like the entire right of way was ripped out. I've heard it's also affecting Rogers customers. I'm thinking this will take awhile to fix. #Edmonton #YEG #Telus #Rogers

I am not against #ai In fact I am fascinated by it and the benefits it can yield. However, I think that the location and impact of the #datacenters that run AI need to be carefully considered. One only has to look at #musk 's Colossus datacenter in #Memphis and the pollution from the #lng power turbines. So, I think that datacenters in #vancouver should be carefully vetted.
