Heckin’ Hot 🥵 at 91F, thank goodness for the breeze and the shade. Inside the house at 74F it feels downright cold… So a bit of patio time, a bit of #surlyBrewing Twenty #barleywine Two days open, still too hoppy for my tastes but lighter than a big #stout #craftBeer #heat #mnWX

Finally popped the #surlybrewing Twenty #barleywine Oaky, bitter, big hoppy. Way too many hops, not enough of the expected caramel and other flavors. Not your father’s barleywine, not a favorite. Leaving bottle two to age until next year… #bil #craftBeer
