❗️Iran tells Hamas it is pressing Gaza ceasefire violations and genocide in talks with US
Hamas said senior official Bassem Naim held a phone call on Tuesday with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss the latest developments in the US-Iran negotiations and the Palestinian issue, particularly the situation in Gaza.
Naim conveyed Hamas's congratulations to Iran's leadership on reaching the framework agreement and praised Iran's steadfastness in confronting US-Israeli aggression, while stressing the importance of continued Iranian support for Palestinians, especially in Gaza.
According to Hamas, Araghchi thanked the movement for its support and reaffirmed Iran's commitment to backing the Palestinian people and their cause until they achieve their legitimate national rights.
He also stressed the importance of broad international political action to protect Palestinians and force Israel to halt its war and efforts to eliminate the Palestinian presence, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
Araghchi told Hamas that Iran's leadership, through its negotiating delegation, has raised "the continued Zionist aggression against Gaza, the occupation's ongoing violations, and the continuation of the genocide despite the ceasefire agreement" in international forums as well as with mediators and the US side during the ongoing negotiations.
He said Tehran continues to press the issue of Gaza and Israeli actions there throughout the diplomatic process.
