My favorite feature of #starcitizen 4.9 is the deployment of updated 9tails (NPC gang) members armors. So something went not exactly according to the plan and now they spawn naked (they have undies, so SFW) 🫠 And this is where the thing get hilarious. They run and cower, trying to hide from the player. You can straight shoot them, but if you feel bad - you can try to subdue them without killing. You can probably throw them a weapon so they will have means to defend themselves, but haven't tried that yet. Things get nasty when NPC allies start hunting them down in the bunker defense missions - you can see some kind of hugo boss uniform style guys shooting them in the back of their heads when cowering. No remorse given. So that's another day in the 'verse for you!

I haven't used a 100 series in, uh, awhile. Because it's the 100 series, you know? Same wacky animation to get into and out of the seat. The seat seemed different at first, somehow, but then the animation played and I was like nope, still same'ol thing. :bloblaugh: #StarCitizen

En cuanto a lo de que no explote la burbuja de las IA, el caso de OpenAI puede ser el de #StarCitizen. Un juego que lleva más de 10 años de desarrollo y sigue en fase alfa. No está acabado pero ha captado mediante crowdfunding casi 1000 millones de $. Y siguen dándole pasta, tiene una base de fans que lo siguen manteniendo. Es posible que a OpenAI le suceda lo mismo, que corporaciones como NVIDIA, Palantir y demás le financien ad infinitum.

Anyone know how long the Aurora Mk II packs will be available for #StarCitizen ? I'm debating on if I should get it or not. I don't necessarily need it, but I must admit that it's an excellent ship. Additionally, it's a solid LTI for a future planned CCU to the inevitable Origin generalist ship that will be announced in a few months. So.. hm. My current daily is a 315p which, on paper, is considerably better.

Naturally, there are some conflicting reports. We'll have to wait until we see Wave 1. From what I'm reading, it appears that ship armor now has penetration resistance against smaller weapons fire. Finally. It'll now protect ship modules etc. There are also significant changes to radar; consuming more power, new radar modules available, having a significant affect on turret / ship auto-aiming, rumored new appearances? And Life Support changes that I don't fully understand. #StarCitizen

Y'all on /r/starcitizen only just now realizing that "new origin ship" means "new origin ship" and not "same old ground vehicle we've known about for years" are the same 45% who didn't know that potato chips are made from potatoes. This is the ship that got me to pledge to Star Citizen. Love the 400i. The money exploit sending hundreds of millions to everyone allowed me to just walk up and buy it from Astro Armada. :blobcatlaugh: #StarCitizen

Well, I'm sold. I'm going to turn in the MSR which I only used for cargo hauling anyway. I might need to do the CCU shuffle, though; I think the MSR has LTI. #StarCitizen
