I get really put-off by all this snarky, performative "sportsball" mockery, as if sports are only for dumb jocks and beneath the consideration of me, the vaunted intellectual (i.e. "person who sits online all day").
Athletes are artists. Artists of the human body and of physics. What makes that any less worthwhile of an endeavor than some pedantic nerd shit?
This is gonna be a great game, and I can always read my books from the library later.
