#sgdq2026

#sgdq2026 is a great time so far, but i always lose track during the rhythm games. it's so cool that people can do this, and the first 1 or 2 times i saw them, i was in awe. but then it settled in that it moves too fast for me to process the coolness of what they're doing and it becomes a whole bunch of tapping and flashing to hyper jpop that i don't really like and for some reason they do like 65 minute showcases for multiple different games i kinda wish they'd just drop a 2 and a half hour chrono trigger category in or something. i'm assuming they keep putting them in bc people who aren't me respond better to them, so that's okay. but i definitely tune fully out when they run the rhythm games and they're not speedruns so i kinda feel like, maybe outside of the odd 20-30 minute showcase, this kinda stuff doesn't fit at gdq
