@tychotithonus@infosec.exchange speaking of Yubico, it looks like they finally released firmware 5.8. I'm not sure how I feel about all of the GenAI "features" they added. https://www.yubico.com/blog/beyond-the-login-top-3-things-developers-need-to-know-about-yubikey-5-8/ #Yubico #Yubikey #CTAP #2FA #SecurityKey

So, I have regularly (daily) used security keys for the past 6 months. I have tested four different brands and about 8 models. I always come back to the NitroKey 3A NFC. It isn't the best built or the easiest to use. But it is the perfect balance for me and how I operate. Log in, tap the key, continue with my business. Open-source firmware, no proprietary blobs. I highly recommend it. #NotSponsored #Nitrokey #SecurityKey #Privacy #Security #FOSS #OpenSource
