Lucy, a Small Soul Trying to Survive in Gaza 🐾🤍 In Gaza, suffering does not belong to humans alone. The war has also left countless animals struggling to survive—without safe shelter, enough food, clean water, or access to veterinary care. Among them is our beloved cat, Lucy. 🐱 Lucy lives with us inside our simple tent. She is not just a pet; she is part of our family. She shares our fear, our hunger, and the uncertainty of each day. Yet despite everything around her, she still brings a little warmth and innocence into our difficult lives. Lucy needs proper food, medical care, and important vaccinations. But with our loss of income and the overwhelming needs of our family, I can no longer provide everything she needs on my own. She, too, is a victim of these circumstances. She deserves to be cared for, protected, and given the chance to stay healthy. Krokus czuje się lepiej! Oczywiście rokowania są bardzo ostrożne, dalej nie je sam, jest mocno odwodniony, ale dzisiaj zaczął sobie czyścić piórka 🥹 Jesteśmy po wizycie w lecznicy. Złamanie jest stare, kość jest martwa i nie ma szans na zrośnięcie. Czeka nas amputacja, wstępnie w środę jeśli jego stan się polepszy. Z okiem jest lepiej, krwiak powoli schodzi. Na RTG nie wyszły żadne dodatkowe urazy, za to w wymazie pojawił się rzęsistek. Skoro złamanie jest stare to raczej nie powstało na autostradzie. Może właśnie ono było powodem porzucenia ptaka? Tego póki co nie wiemy. Dzisiejsza wizyta kosztowała 250 zł, przewidywany koszt operacji to 400 zł. Kupiliśmy jeszcze Nutribird do karmienia za 60 zł i aktualnie na zrzutce mamy jeszcze niecałe 200 zł. Więc połowę na operację.
