Worked the lunch shift today; predictably busy for a Wednesday. Everyone's share of the tips came out to $31/person but the owner, in the spirit of motivation, said she bumped that up to $40/person and that's what each employee walked out with in cash. This is why I wanted to part-time with a local mom and pop and not some corporate entity. It just feels damn good. #RetiredLife #RestaurantLife
