Cinque anziani deceduti in ambulanza durante il trasferimento dalle loro case all’ospedale, tra febbraio e fine estate 2025. Ora la Procura di Forlì indaga su un 27enne operatore della Croce Rossa, residente nel Forlivese, con l’accusa di omicidio plurimo, secondo il Corriere di Romagna. Le morti sospette sarebbero avvenute durante la tratta in ambulanza con il 27enne in servizio, ma l’operatore si dichiara estraneo alle accuse. Non è ancora stato sentito da carabinieri e magistrato, ma avrebbe fornito elementi e documenti.
Secondo i legali del giovane indagato, per ogni paziente è intervenuto un medico, a bordo del mezzo di soccorso, ovvero l’auto medicalizzata di Romagna Soccorso. Le indagini, che sono condotte dai carabinieri del Nucleo operativo di Forlì e vedono impegnati anche i Nas, sono tuttora in corso. “È sconcertato da quanto sta emergendo – ha detto al quotidiano locale l’avvocata Gloria Parigi, che difende il 27enne -, urla la sua innocenza in ogni modo, in una vicenda che gli ha stravolto l’esistenza. Si è messo a disposizione dell’autorità giudiziaria perché non ha nulla da nascondere. Per questo ha chiesto di essere ascoltato dalla Procura”. L’uomo attualmente non è in servizio, per via di un monte ore di permessi accumulati. Ma l’Ausl, parte in causa della vicenda, avrebbe espresso parere negativo all’ipotesi di un rientro in servizio in questa fase.

Five elderly people died in an ambulance during transport from their homes to the hospital between February and the end of summer 2025. Now, the Forlì Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a 27-year-old Red Cross operator from Forlivese, on charges of multiple homicide, according to Corriere di Romagna. The suspected deaths occurred during the ambulance ride with the 27-year-old in service, but the operator claims to be innocent of the charges. He has not yet been questioned by carabinieri and magistrates, but he has reportedly provided evidence and documents.
According to the young man’s lawyers, a doctor intervened for each patient, on board the emergency vehicle, namely the Romagna Soccorso medical car. The investigations, conducted by the Forlì Operational Nucleus of the Carabinieri and involving the NAS, are still ongoing. “He is shocked by what is emerging – the lawyer Gloria Parigi, who defends the 27-year-old, told the local newspaper – he is shouting his innocence in every way, in a case that has turned his life upside down. He has made himself available to the judicial authorities because he has nothing to hide. For this reason, he requested to be heard by the Prosecutor’s Office.” The man is currently not on duty due to accumulated leave hours. However, the Ausl, which is involved in the case, has expressed a negative opinion on the possibility of his return to duty at this stage.
