Data preservation is a niche interest of mine, and one of the things I've been thinking about has been storing written data long-term, since paper tends to wear out and break down easily so writing things onto cloth is a little more effective, but prints wear out, so you have to embroider them. So now I'm thinking about making a bunch of #ESP32 and other circuit diagram schematics and then screen printing them, making a #quilt and #embroidering over the screen printed lines. 🪡 I don't sew. I've never made a quilt. I know people that have and have seen the amount of effort and time that goes into that and I know I'm not going to finish this, but I still really like the idea.

Space: 1999 quilt. I made this a few years ago. It’s one of my favorites I have made. This is handquilted. #Space1999 #quilt #handquilting #tapestry #textileart #alphamoonbase

Quilters: I'm looking for information. Brandon Wulff created a style of quilt called a "biscotti". He used to have the on demand class on his website, but it's no longer available. I get the gist of the process: make a quilt top, then cut it up and make new blocks, then sew them back together to make a new top. I'm looking for a few specifics/recommendations for how to build the original, then how to cut/rebuild the final top. Anyone here who can provide some info? Please boost. #quilt
