Hi everyone! I've spent the last three days working nonstop to somehow port Fractal 14.1 to Android 12+. I forked the project specifically for this experiment. This is the original Fractal written in Rust with GTK4 and LibAdwaita. I ported it using cargo-ndk. It was quite challenging, but I finally got it working. It's definitely not without its quirks, but this is only the beginning.🚀 #fractal #matrix #libadwaita #gnome #gtk4 #rust #porting #Android

great fucking sign that the docs on how to port your large library project don't make any sense. i can't figure out how to actually add system-dependent file overrides. supposedly, you put a folder somewhere in sysdeps/ and it Just Works but I have no idea how to declare "yes, this target is supported" and just having the folder and basic file structure where it says to put it is not fucking cutting it.
