I am very fortunate ... during the summer I get to camp in a beautiful and quiet park full of trees and nature. However the trees can be a challenge for #astronomy / #astrophotography. Here I've made the most of a gap in the trees. I believe the small red patch at the bottom is the Lagoon Nebula. A couple of recent targets I imaged and processed in PixInsight. NGC 7000 the North America Nebula, and NGC 6992 the Eastern Veil Nebula. Both captured using 2 different dual-narrowband filters, to get H-alpha, Sulphur-II and Oxygen-III wavelengths of light. #astrophotography #ngc7000 #ngc6992 #pixinsight
