I might not go so far as to say that Phish saved my life, but I will say that Phish changed the direction of my life. Seeing these last three shows at MSG (via livestream, not in person) brought me back to a time when I was a completely different person. I'd only just met the lifelong friends that would form my social groups. I'd hazard a guess that my closest friendships I still have came out of this era - the mid-90s. Phish is currently playing five shows at Madison Square Garden. It is their 92nd, 93rd, 94th, 95th, and 96th shows they've played there. In tribute they are playing shows consisting of songs from those years ('92-'96). This was the era when I discovered this band; in discussion with friends, these last three shows (92-94 so far) have been like a time machine, and not only for the fans, but for the band, too. They're playing so well right now. These five shows are going to be really special ones that will be replayed by all of us for years to come. Thanks, #phish.
