I finally managed to set up my own #panoramax instance! If I can do it, with no prior operations experience, and 8GB RAM, you probably can too! Now I just need to get a few years of experience, and the memory market needs to crash, and maybe I'll be able to set up a larger instance open to contributions :D

This weekend, OSM Belgium members got together in lovely Liège. The Montagne de Bueren provided the backdrop for discussions on a wide range of topics, including: 🧑‍🦽‍➡️ combining sensor data and OSM data to improve routing for wheelchair users 🗺️ mapping cooperatives and social enterprises 📷 recent progress on setting up a @panoramax@mapstodon.space instance for OSM Belgium #Panoramax 📢 improving communication about what we do within the Belgian community #OpenStreetMap

Dank #OpenStreetMap bin ich gerne mindestens 15 Minuten früher an Treffpunkten. Vor allem dort, wo ich noch nicht so oft war. Vor Ort nutze ich gerne Vespucci, da ich damit so ziemlich alles eintragen kann. Soll es schneller gehen, oder wenn ich irgendwo zu Fuß unterwegs bin, nutze ich #StreetComplete. Mit #Baba mache ich Fotos für #Panoramax. Fahrt ihr zu zweit, lasst ruhig jemand anderen fahren. Das nutze ich dann als Beifahrer um zu mappen. In StreetComplete habe ich ein extra Aufgabenprofil erstellt, welches nur bestimmte Aufgaben anzeigt, welche auch während der Fahrt eingetragen werden können.
