An update on Swans (untitled). I have achieved base coat on everything! (I did shoes after this shot, but trust me, they’re done!) I have smeared this painting so many times with my brace that my brace looks like a Kandinsky, but I think I’ve fixed the canvas. We are nearing completion, and I still don’t know what to call it… #painting #oils #art #swans #silly #surrealism

Look! I got a few minutes more done. I think I’ve picked everyone’s colors. Maybe. It’s a very silly painting. #art #painting #oils #silly

Sure, you spent all day yesterday looking at geese, but have you seen swans at a cocktail party today? The painting is taking shape, 10 minutes at a time. 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️. I am astonished I haven’t smeared it yet, if I’m to be honest, although I am taking brace off to hold the brush, so I don’t have an exoskeleton to account for. Heh. Still haven’t settled on a name for our flock, feel free to suggest! #art #painting #oils #silly #surreal #swans
