Strong side lighting, and a fence to create shadows for contrast?  Yes, please. Juanita Bay Park is a pretty place with lots of nature to see, but during a late afternoon walk there the thing that kept drawing my eye was man-made. (Cross-posted from my site, where there are more photos to enjoy: https://andrewflenniken.com/2026/07/21/july-21st-2026-afternoon-wood/) The warm sunlight on the brown wood, and the texture of its weathered surface, brought me some joy.
