All the places that I’ve been. I am not moving. I live in so many places. I’m in the forest and the fields. I’m at sea and in the mountains. And I stand there alone, in the grass, as I watch the highway beside me. Lots of people there. They’re moving, going somewhere. Yet I stand, watching as the mist creeps up. I’ve been standing here for a while now. Sometimes I fear that I’ll be standing here forever. As time goes by, the years pass, and I get older. I am older. Still here, I think.
