The double feature saves the day!! Is something that I've said literally every week up until now. Honestly I think I'm noped out with #Monsterdon at this point. Does anybody actually watch and vet these for emotional trauma, problematic themes, and misogynistic bullshit? Like, kitsch, camp, postmodern trash and ironic horror are one thing, but the last couple weeks have just been offensively mediocre and not in a fun way. Take lessons from how Rifftrax selects content (you know, these days, not back when they still thought homophobic and transphobic jokes were the intellectual height of comedy)) maybe? I don't know.
