The well is taking longer than expected, but we are making steady progress. As we dig deeper, we have passed through different soil layers and found a few small water-bearing layers, giving us hope that the main water table is near. Following the experts' advice, we recently shared an update on our GoFundMe explaining what is needed next. Thank you to everyone who has donated. Your support is making this possible. If you can help again, even with a small donation, we would be deeply grateful.. https://www.gofundme.com/f/water-well-at-eco-youths-farm?utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_content=amp30-no-carousel&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&lang=en_US Here is a video taken yesterday showing the heap of soil excavated during the digging. #sustainability #mutualaid #mastodonnews #fediGive

Hi to our #donors and well-wishers, We have posted a new update on our fundraiser. We have also reactivated our fundraiser again as we continue working toward completing the project. We have reached the stage where things have become harder to break through, even though we are close to the finish line. The update explains everything that is happening on the ground, and we hope that, with your continued support, we can get through this stage. Thank you again for your generous support.https://www.gofundme.com/f/water-well-at-eco-youths-farm #regenerativeagriculture #fediGive #support #mastodonnews #sustainability

An underwater forest and roads at a depth of 80 meters – this is what Germany's largest artificial lake looks like. This is the Geiseltalsee, created between 2003 and 2011 after the flooding of a former brown coal mine. Beneath the crystal-clear water, at depths of up to 80 meters, forests, roads, concrete structures, and other remnants of the mining operation remain. Today, this place attracts divers and those who enjoy unusual underwater landscapes. #AureFreePress #Germany #MastodonNews
