Good morning. The news many of you were waiting for overnight is this:
Andy Burnham won the Makerfield By-Election, increasing Labour's share of the vote (but with clear signs that tactical voting played a part in that victory).
And now the stage is set for some upheaval in, and possible, but not by any means certain 'renewal' for the Labour Party.
And of course now Burnham will reveal his real colours....
