Majel Barrett played in "The Cage" Captain Pike's "Number One". After Pike is kidnapped by the mysterious Talosians, she has to step up and run the show. And she is a total badass - 15 years before Alien's Ripley. #Feminism was not invented during the shooting of "Captain Marvel".
Majel is quite amazing in this role, while being completely stoic and unpretentious.
