I've always written secret messages inside my instruments before I seal them up, but today I discovered something new: a luthier who hides little figurines inside his! (It's Will Grove-White, who formerly played ukulele with the Ukulele Orchestra of Geat Britain) #lutherie #luthier

Still very proud of my new tele-style thinline: I have found a great way to place the string ferrules in the body so that they are flush with the body but also it looks neat and is relatively easy to do. https://mastodon.astifter.com/@astifter/116949013741924162 #woodworking #lutherie #telecaster

Attached: 3 images Finally assembling a guitar I have been working on for months (on and off, of course) and strumming the first amplified chord is such a pleasure. Semi-hollow ash, maple top, nice hardware. Old Squier Classic Vibe 50s neck with the thick(!) lacquer removed from the board itself, I like a bare board but wanted maple. Fender Vintage 50 pickups, we'll see how those turn out, I'm not a big pickup connoisseur. Happy 75th, Telecaster #woodworking #lutherie #telecaster
