could you actually make EmojiDOOM? One problem is that executing emoji becomes exponentially harder once you stop targeting the 8088. The 386 also has the lock prefix - but it enforces validity. Only certain opcodes are "lockable" and if you stick a LOCK prefix on an incompatible opcode you get an int 6 #UD exception. No bueno.
