Hello world! I'm thinking of trying a new OS. At the moment I'm on #opensuse because it's European (and it was also my first Linux distro back in 2002). However I'd like to move to something with a stronger stance against llm slop. My computing needs are modest: a web browser like #librewolf, #emacs and #lilypond cover it pretty much. Fortunately I have a wlan USB thing with open source drivers, so I have high hopes it will work.

Lilypond question: Lilypond is much nicer to engrave in than Dorico/MuseScore, but the latter two are much nicer for composing (e.g., when I need to quickly insert/re-order things), at least with my current Lilypond knowledge. Does anyone have suggestions on inserting/re-ordering material in Lilypond, or should I just do Dorico -> MusicXML -> musicxml2ly? #Lilypond #Composer #ClassicalMusic #ContemporaryClassical #Notation #Engraving #MuseScore #Dorico
