I wasn’t feeling particularly inspired or well for last night’s #lifedrawing session, but I went anyway and joined 12 other #artists, pencils poised, ready to tackle the unclothed human form. It’s not just the model who is exposed when life drawing. It literally exposes the naked truth about an artist’s abilities. There’s nowhere to hide! The excruciating doubt I sometimes feel as an artist is lifted when I’m life drawing - I prove to myself that I can do it. And at times not too badly. Plus, it’s immense fun!
