Weird. When i checked my laptops #Windows #license, it said it was already licensed...?!?!?! Checked with slmgr /dlv and indeed it was licensed. Anyone seen this before? I never entered a license key and it is already a Win 10 Pro license... Do the hardware have any serial numer that it goes out and checks license for on the internet or something? Wasted money buying licenses in that case. Sure, i can use them with my VMs but still money wasted...

@Atemu@darmstadt.social @fionafokus@mystical.garden And by the way, to clarify the consequences, changing the #license header of a source file without explicit permission from all copyright holders of said source file (usually all contributors to it's code) is, quite simply, pure and unadulterated copyright infringement. The contents of the initial license header does not matter one bit. It is the principle of changing it - even for another #freesoftware license - which is strictly forbidden without authorization.
