Tried VeraCrypt on the m2 usb drive, went down from 700 MB/s to 550 MB/s (write ops). Reasonable speed/overhead.

@treed@infosec.exchange A false positive while deploying your code can really ruin your day.
AV also alert on other things like "potentially unwanted" or "hacktool" categories. Basically if you have Netcat or NMap in a folder, those gets deleted because someone at Microsoft or whatever decide that nobody should have those.
There is no way to tell an AV that, "i'm a pro, please leave that stuff alone."
Hence exclusions.

If you are buying an Amiga or Atari home computer from the 90s, parts or gadgets for them, there is one thing you need to know:
"Untested" is code for "it is broken and i have no clue how to fix it".

Seeing the "Lost" dvd collection that comes in a wooden slightly dirty storage box makes me wanna buy it...
...and burry it in the forest somewhere to give someone in the future a laugh.

Considering buying 2 of these with ~1 TB storage to use as quick drag and drop backup units, having one offsite all the time and just swapping them from time to time.

Quite a few Amiga 500 Mini's on sale right now.
Want one but never got one. And already have too many Amigas at home and should sell them to other collectors who take care of them.

The black box doesn't show it but it is a Pimax 8K. I also have a GearVR somewhere in my apartment, never got it to work, but i got it for €5 so...

@kevinmirsky@infosec.exchange I remember a youtuber talking about stores/a store that refurbished and resold old hotas systems. You could google around for that and save a few bucks.
Personally i would not go below any model that has a retail price of the X52, the lower quality stuff isn't close in functionality.

Sure just run around on an island you can't escape and scream and shout into a megaphone. Without stupid characters, there would be no story.

Wanted to watch Jericho for a long time, now that i've seen 1/2 of the first season, I'm forcing myself to watch the rest because A) i bought the DVDs and B) the storyline progresses like a slug.
I'm not surprised they cancelled the show.

@jimkats@infosec.exchange Yeah, had an unlisted (!) video be claimed by some unknown artist.
I think most people don't fight infringements and some shit artists live on the income from such videos, but mine was unlisted and has had like 9 views, so i don't know wtf the guy was thinking.

@kevinmirsky@infosec.exchange Can recommend the pimax crystal, has eyetracking for selective rendering which increase performance.
I went with the ol' Pimax 8K instead as it has an unbeatable resolution and FOV for flightsims, but it requires a monster machine.
