#Y2K38 isn't a distant problem; #openSUSE developers have been finding real breakages by #testing with #2038 clocks. #GCC now has -Wtime_t-conversion warnings, and #Leap 16 ships 2038-safe by default. The #community is tackling this head-on. https://news.opensuse.org/2026/01/20/os-community-tackling-y2k38-epoch/

Run your own autonomous trading agent on #openSUSE. no #cloud, no subscriptions, no black boxes. Just #systemd, readable logs, environment variables, and full control. Works on #Leap, #Tumbleweed, and more. 🐧 #Linux 📈 https://news.opensuse.org/2026/02/18/building-self-hosted-trading-infra-on-os/

Replying to @Canageek@wandering.shop
@Canageek@wandering.shop Part of the issue is when people say #openSUSE, it's not particularly descriptive. They could be talking about #Leap, or #Tumbleweed, #MicroOS, or even some other variants, like #Aeon or #Kalpa, none of which have to really be in agreement with each other, for something to exist within the larger project, or ship them.
