Yes, burying reports like this is bullshit, but you know what is also bullshit? About a third of ALL food goes to waste. According to @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu almost 60 million tons of food is thrown out every year in Europe alone.
- so when we say that food scarcity will be a security problem, it's laden with a massive helping of colonialism, i.e. We The Rich™️ have plenty of food, but the people who can't afford it might get desperate enough to become a threat...
