I'm staying in the historic village of Hurstpierpoint and went for a walk along their heritage trail today*
- Lamb House - early 19C - first a coaching inn then a beer inn
- Very old cottages which were originally catalogued in 16C
- The Poacher Inn - originally known as The Cricketers and then The Queen's Head
- Players Theatre - built as a chapel in 1817 and became the National School in 1819
- because who doesn't love waking up at the crack of dawn the morning after a concert?
