Following the recent heatwave: Active #wildfire near Ille-sur-Têt in southern #France - yesterday it was reported around 1000 ha, today it grew to about 4600 ha, prompting evacuations. We visited #Ille-sur-Têt just recently to see its rich geomorpholigical treasures, the #hoodoos - what a lovely region and I deeply hope everyone, including the hundreds of #firefighters deployed, will make it safely through this in incident.
