Apparently the Maritime Museum of San Diego is planning to permanently close the HMS Surprise to the public as restoration would be more expensive than they expected ($25 million.) Once again I am wishing the goddamn billionaires would spend their stupid money in cool, whimsical ways, since this would be less than a day’s passive income for the foremost money-hoarders. 🤬
