Reminder to myself to move off Google and towards self-hosted/EU hosted alternatives. It's actually quite crazy how they do it: they combine the "storage" with photos/documents, so if your photo/document storage is full, Google blocks all emails unless you pay for their subscription! #goodbye #google #selfhosting

Sorry wafflers, but I will more than likely be migrating my web-blog from here to quenq. I love this community, but I've found an open-source alternative to myspace, that has similar philosophy to the fediverse. As I've previously stated, its open-source, and it also has no algorithm; in its place is a groups tab, which works similar to a subreddit, and the general feed page is just profiles within the general "neighborhood" of profiles you've interacted with. Something I personally view as a plus over wafrn is that there's full html customization.
