That's me all set up for my pop-up stall in the St Enoch Centre today, with lots of Glasgow-themed goodies featuring some of my favourite photos. It's beside the lifts at the east end of the centre. I'll be here until about 4pm, so if you're in town today, stop by and say hi.

This is not a good scene to wake up to, but at least no one in the building or any firefighters were hurt. The neighbouring Central Station, a key element of Victorian Glasgow and an important hub for modern communters, is closed, but is hopefully unharmed.

The view down Renfield Street to Union Street in Glasgow this morning. After yesterday's fire, the familiar dome of the 175 year old Union Corner building is gone, as is the facade which once stretched down Union Street to Caledonian Chambers (where there is a side entrance to Central Station). Smoke still billows from the burned out remains and drifts across the centre of Glasgow.
