BTW Gdynia trafiła na listę UNESCO, na co zasługuje - byłem tam w zeszłym roku. Zasłużenie, ale chyba trochę późno. Uwielbiam gdyński modernizm, historia Gdyni jest absolutnie niesamowita i bardzo podobało mi się też Muzeum Miasta Gdyni. Akurat byliśmy w czasie Festiwalu Filmów w Gdyni więc na dywan też się załapaliśmy :) Jak Trójmiasta nie lubię, tak Gdynia jest szczególna. #gdynia

To kind of thematically fit with @jon@gruene.social's #velocity2025 coverage, here's some highlights of the story of Pomerania's public bike-sharing service, #Mevo: The wild ride started when the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area (an intercommunal cooperation org) awarded a contract for setting up the system to Nextbike. Together, they promised thousands of bikes, all of them electric, for the insanely low price of 10 PLN/month for 90 minutes a day (or 0.10 PLN/min without a subscription).
