Nothing goes to waste on our farm. We collected discarded eggshells from our local trading center #Lunnya and crashed them by hand into a fine powder, as shown in the photos.
We plan to apply them to our tomato garden as a natural source of calcium which supports healthy plant development and helps reduce blossom end rot.
We apply them in the right quantities, as excessive use over time can raise soil pH and make the soil too alkaline.
