#fptp

let's review two things people still struggle with:

1. not voting only helps #MAGA

it does not improve nor help anything. it only serves your selfish entitlement and smug self-gratification

1. a 3rd party #vote in our shit #FPTP system only helps MAGA

it divides the left vote. it's just math

we have to take over the #Democrats

it's the only way

And look!

people are beginning to get it 😁 :

EARLY RESULTS. they can still lose

Starmer’s resignation is latest product of the #chaos of First Past the Post (FPTP) #Starmer’s #resignation should be a moment of reckoning. It is finally time to ask the tough questions about how we choose our #leaders, and how we choose the system that chooses them. It would be easy to blame individual leaders. Whilst that inevitably plays a part, the #instability we are living through runs deeper than who occupies Number 10... #FPTP #UK #elections #democracy #voting #vote [1/2]

@ErikUden@mastodon.de the #democrats fucking suck but remember: we're stuck in 2 party because we are a shitty #FPTP voting system 3rd party in our system divides the left #vote and helps #MAGA win (we can fix that with ranked choice voting... that's a whole other post) so we are stuck with one way forward: take over the democrats how? we have #primaries coming up and this is your chance to replace your spineless #democrat turd rep with a real leftist mob the primaries what did #mamdani teach us?
