I have a crazy idea and it is that we should have a World Bitmap Font Week, to celebrate the culture of bitmap fonts, and perhaps pay thanks for their work and contributions to society. Also we can make some fonts. At this stage it is just an idea, but with a few more people i think we could have a few coordinated blog posts, and maybe some tools, tutorials, and even workshops? I suggest the 10 days starting 2026-10-19. Who is in? Reply saying yes. And please boost :) #BitmapFont #Font

Con il caldo che fa mi sono messo a girare in Internet con ricerche su tipografia e font. Ho sempre desiderato trovarne uno che fosse abbastanza elegante da dare un tono di ufficialità alle mie cose, ma anche semplice e lineare. Forse l'ho trovato; per me, certo: i gusti personali sono appunto tali. Non è detto che altri debbano averne di simili. E poi attenzione: non sono un tipografo, non sono un designer, non sono un esperto in nulla. Era solo così, per il piacere di imparare qualcosa… #font

this new Zed #font system is so cleverly and beautifully designed 🤍 https://www.typotheque.com/blog/zed-a-sans-for-the-needs-of-21century love when people put in thoughts and work into stuff (though quite costly…)
