Only problem is they are already struggling to get more agents to op-in to this braindead mission now that they all know they will 100% be seen as murderers.

Important to note, many communities across the country are seeing a surge in ICE+CBP activity.
Notably new ICE tactics being talked about in West Virginia where ICE is working with local and state cops to setup at what look like DUI check points only to harass people about their status.
There's also rumors of ICE using toll booths in WVa to check plates to search for vulnerable people to target quite literally down the road.
